Hey all. Just thought I'd try out the new news page with some upcoming projects I'm working on. I keep putting off and on multiple projects, as I'm not one of those types that just focus on one solid piece. Whenever I come up with an idea, I immediately write it down, start a half-assed script and begin animation. I rarely storyboard, as I find working directly on the computer helps me better, although I do storyboard if the project is big enough. One example is my Canadian Idiot video, which I didn't storyboard. I just imported the song and worked directly from the timeline. This method works for some, others it doesn't
Anyway, one project I've been working on since March is The Great Banana Caper, the sequel to Pawn of the Dead. Although to be honest, I've lost interest in this. While the principle animation is complete, I've got about 40% of the lip-syncing done, and as any artist knows, this is the most time-consuming task. Another important thing I should mention is that I'm considering remaking the movie completely from scratch. When I made Pawn of the Dead and saw the response it got, I immediately jumped on a sequel. However, I've learned some new tricks since then and would like to but it to good use instead of just repeating the same thing over again. Not to mention I've got college and work to attend to. Arrrgggh.
As of right now, I've got two other ideas down. One is an animation based on the comedy duo Peter and Brian while the other is a Tyra Banks parody. I've also done two parts for the Sprite TV 2 collab, which as of right now doesn't have a release date. The creator is either being extremely lazy or has lost interest. If that's the case I'll release the parts along with some other stuff as a compilation. Sprites are still cool, right guys?
So that's what's up with me. Later.
Oh, and check out my Top 5 videos games that need a sequel video. It's a smash hit on GameTrailers.
